Missions Trip
As a church we sent a group of people on a short-term missions trip to Costa Rico last summer.
This will be the eighth year that the McLaughlins have been serving in Puerto Viejo. This year they have taken on the additional role as pastors of their local church. The support they have received from Canyon Creek since 2006 has been a tremendous blessing and Ron and Tammy are extremely grateful to Canyon Creek for partnering with them in their mission to help further God’s work in Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica. The McLaughlins’ goal is to serve God and His people. They are working toward establishing a network of Kids churches that will meet independently in different neighborhoods. The Lord has used Ron and Tammy to see people come to Christ, to see families come together and serve faithfully in the church, as well as many salvations, life changes and baptisms.
