This is the 3rd major design of Canyon Creek's website, and to be honest with you, we're quite proud. We changed everything. From the look-and-feel, to the content, to the back-end system, we left no rock unturned.
The greatest asset at Canyon Creek is the people. We love people, and fortunately for us, we have some extremely talented and generous people who offered their expertise in building the site. Among those people, was Tanya Williams. Tanya graphically captured the essence of our church. If you've ever been to Canyon Creek, you'll know exactly what I'm talking about. If you haven't, you're missing out.
Web standards and accessibility were an emphases in the development of the site. Using HTML, CSS and JavaScript we created a usable, search engine friendly site that is accessible to as many users as possible. The site also utilizes some of the most up-to-date CSS3 technology and degrades gracefully in non-supporting browsers. We also use ExpressionEngine to power the site and serve as the content management system.
The goal of this site was to grow our church. It has been a huge success. Person after person who comes into our church mentions the attraction they had based on this website. That's awesome. We set out to grow the church and we've succeeded so far.
