Russ Jorgenson_Development Pastor

I was born in Montana, with a cowboy hat on!  I was born on Tuesday and in Church on Sunday. I have a great Christian heritage.  I had my own horse (BUCK) before I had a bike.  I remember not liking my bike because it was harder to ride than my horse.  After graduating form High School I attended North Central University and then transferred to Northwest University.  Rhonda and I were married in 1987 and we both graduated in 1988. We were in Youth ministry for about 18 years. We were youth pastors in Wyoming, Oregon and Washington.  Our last adventure with Youth Ministry was here at Canyon creek for a short interim period.

We have four children – Trevin, Keaton, Colten, Lexie and believe me when I say that Lexie can hold her own with three older brothers. Our kids are very active in Church, School and Sports.  We love to play outside and play in the rain.  We have been involved in many different areas at Canyon Creek and we are excited to start this new adventure with the “ONE” Service.  Starting Palm Sunday the One o’clock service provides another service for those who would like to attend a service after lunch.  If you like to sleep in on Sunday the “ONE” provides ample time for the kids to get ready, feed them something and attend a great service.  Hope to see you there.
